Students experienced 3D design using an online program called TinkerCad. They were able to create bubble wands (which we tested throughout the week) and a home for a little Minecraft character. They had to measure the character to get his dimensions in order to ensure that it would fit inside of the house they designed.
After watching Inside Out, students were inspired to create their own "Islands of Personality". On their island, they had to incorporate 3-4 elements into their build they felt represented them. In survival, students worked in groups to find and mine items to build homes and gather food to help them survive.
