2017 MSAD 60 End of year Technology FAQ
Grade 4-12 Student Chromebook
All student devices must cleaned and turned in with charger and case by the following dates at the latest (per location).
All devices not turned in will be deactivated, and students will be billed for the replacement cost of the device. Damaged student devices will be billed as normal.
ELKS & NBES: 6/19
NMS: 6/14 - 6/16 During Squire Time in Room 223.
NHS grades 8 - 11: 6/19 - 6/21
Only AP & Summer school students may check out their Chromebook for summer use upon completion of the following by 6/21:
1) Next year’s permission form 2) 2017-2018 User Fee Payment 3) Chromebook inspection by library/tech staff
NHS Seniors: 5/19 - 6/2
Please use Google Takeout to transfer files to a personal Google/Gmail account. Access to school account will be turned off on 6/5.
Teacher / Ed-Tech Chromebook
TEACHER: Does your device need service?
No: Keep over summer.
Yes: Email email@example.com to create a support ticket and turn broken device into Library 6/21.
If leaving district please use Google Takeout to transfer files to a personal Gmail account & turn into building Library on or before 6/21.
ED-TECH / INTERN: Clean and turn into your building Library (NMS =RM 223) (Bag, Laptop, Charger) on or before 6/16.
Ed-techs in need of a summer device should email firstname.lastname@example.org to create a support ticket requesting a summer device.
iPads (K-1 & SPED)
Grade 2-3 Chromebooks Packs
All Staff MacBook Airs (SPED, CO, ADMIN, Food Service, Transportation, Secretaries)
Does your device(s) need service?
No: Backup local data to Google Drive. Run Mac OS updates if needed. Keep for summer. Consult building integrator if assistance needed.
Yes: Email email@example.com to create a support ticket and turn broken device into Library by 6/21.
If leaving district, contact Brett Saucier to coordinate data transfer and device collection.
NHS Physics & Music MacBooks
Music: Please turn in all white MacBooks. Software available on chromebooks for next year.
Physics: Email firstname.lastname@example.org to create a support ticket for any broken or problematic devices.
No service needed? Store securely for summer.
