Remember...

Do what's in paranthesis first.

Use Same Add Opposite when subtracting integers. -2 - 4 = -2 + (-4) = -2

Subtracting a negative is the same as adding. -3 -(-6) = -3 + 6 = 3

E-75 What did the butcher say to the tough piece of meat?

Remember...
Draw a line down through the = sign to divide the problem into 2 sides.
You need to isolate the variable.
Use the inverse (opposite) operation with the same number to get the variable by itself.
Do this to BOTH sides!
To get rid of a fraction being multiplied by a variable then MULTIPLY it by it's RECIPROCAL!

Remember...
The first number of the coordinate is the x value, go that distance left (-) or right (+) on the x-axis.
The second number of the coordinate is the y value, go the distance up (+) or down (-) from the point you moved on the x-axis.

Remember...
A coordinate pair is set up so that the first coordinate is x and second coordinate is y. (x, y)
You will be substituting the values in the coordinates into the equations to see which ones are true or SOLUTIONS to the equations.
