What is Aspire River Hawks?
Aspire River Hawks is a community wide initiative whose overarching goal is to raise aspirations for all children from early learning through high school graduation and into post-secondary experiences.
How can Aspire River Hawks help me in my classroom?
How can Aspire River Hawks help me in my classroom?
Aspire River Hawks wants to enhance the things you're already working on in your classroom to raise students aspirations. That could mean purchasing supplies for a hands-on activity, connecting your classroom with community members who can share their experience and expertise, or helping your class get out in the field and bridge classroom learning with community careers. We want to hear YOUR ideas!
Can Aspire River Hawks take out-of-district field trips?
Can Aspire River Hawks take out-of-district field trips?
Yes! All Aspire River Hawks field trips are subject to the superintendent's approval, however, we are able to take field trips out-of-district as long as we are able to associate these with aspirations.
Is Aspire River Hawks limited to one field trip per class?
Is Aspire River Hawks limited to one field trip per class?
Not necessarily. Every Resource Request is handled on a case-by-case basis, but we do want to ensure we're providing resources for as many students as possible!
