Meet our team: Nikki Batchelder, Billie-Jo Reed, Kelly Louder, and Marybeth Littlefield. Preschool is where the youngest learners start their educational journey. The Pre-K team helps students learn through play, social skills, and fostering a love of learning in school.
Introducing the Kindergarten Team, Becky Walker, Erin Peasley, Denyell O'Brien and new to the team, Macy Bartlett.
We strive to make learning in kindergarten fun, engaging and relevant. During the month of December you will find us boarding a plane and traveling around the world to learn about holiday traditions celebrated by different cultures. We sample traditional foods, make crafts and learn songs from each culture. Then in the spring you will find us taking what we learned about maps and using a local map to navigate to various places in town. This is a sample of some of the activities that we plan for our students.
Meet our fabulous first-grade team; Ashley Graham, Ashley Spencer, Sarah Ross and Lindsay Marcoux. We’re a group of energetic, caring teachers who love turning every school day into an adventure. From sparking curiosity to cheering on new readers, we make learning exciting and fun. We believe in big smiles, kind hearts, and helping each child shine bright as they grow through their first-grade year!
Our team consists of 4 veteran teachers. This year is Cindy Higgins’ 36th year, Tammy George’s 29th year, Colleen White’s 13th year, and Emma Crovo’s 5th year. We welcome Ms. Crovo to our district this year. We obviously think 2nd grade is the best grade ever! We love to learn and have lots of fun.
📚 Meet Our Third Grade Dream Team! 🍎
We’re so excited to welcome everyone to another amazing school year, and we’d love to introduce our incredible third grade team: Missy Noonan, Jacie Nickerson, Kristie Canfield, and Sara Boies!

We’re buzzing with excitement as students look forward to an incredible year of growth and discovery! We are eager to support each student not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well. Our team can’t wait to see how each student develops into their best selves. Keeping students motivated to learn and excited to participate in opportunities at Warsaw and beyond is a must. Our team is made up of Mr. Boutlier, Ms. Louder, Mrs VanDeventer, Mrs. Saucier, Mrs. Taylor and Mr. Marcoux.

Kelly Gordon teaches special education and Kelsey Pomelow Book is in science. This is our first year highlighting "8th Grade Academy" with our focus being preparing our kids for a smooth transition into their high school years at MCI.
Fun Fact: Our team features the teacher that travels the farthest (60 miles) and the teacher who travels the least (1 mile) to work at Warsaw Middle School.
Meet the IT Team: We're the reason you can stream, grade and occasionally yell at the printer!
We are the IT Team, the wizards behind the curtain who ensure that the magic of digital learning works. We're the folks who can immediately translate a blinking error message into plain English but can also troubleshoot a sticky keyboard with one hand while drinking cold coffee with the other.
Our day involves everything from protecting thousands of student records to resetting passwords. If your screen is frozen, your cursor has mysteriously vanished, or you're wondering how to project a video of a dancing dinosaur, we've got you covered.
We're here to make tech invisible, reliable, and—most importantly—work for our students and staff.
Janet Michaud - Data Coordinator
Nick Nolan - IT Specialist
Rob Bane - Technology Director
Give a massive shout-out to the MSAD 53 Maintenance Team! While everyone else is kicking back after school hours, these superheroes are wielding wrenches and floor polishers like magic wands. Seriously, they keep our buildings so incredibly safe and clean, you could probably eat lunch off the hallway floors (we don't recommend it, but you could). These folks are dedicated to making our schools the best environment for our students, and they do it with a level of grit and compassionate teamwork that deserves a standing ovation. We're pretty sure the only thing they can't fix is your terrible parking job at the last basketball game. Thank you for all you do! 🎉🛠️✨

Our dedicated special education team at Manson Park School includes Natasha Robinson, Hillary Johnston, and Sara Goode. Together, they bring a wealth of experience and compassion to support the needs of our students. Their collaborative approach ensures that each student receives personalized support in a caring, inclusive environment.
I am excited to be back as our school district's nurse! I served the district from 2010-2019 and I have a wealth of experience in many different nursing fields during my career. My husband, Andy and I have also put 4 children through our wonderful district. My goal is to meet the health and well-being needs of our pre-k through 8th graders, so they can be successful and flourish in school!
Meet "Team Awesome!"
From left to right in the back row we have Justin Downing, our Physical Education Teacher; Carla Littlefield, Art Teacher; and new to our team this year is Amanda Benner, Vickery's School Social Worker. In the front row we have Alice Donaldson, Music Teacher; Tara Pomeroy, Library Technician; and Meghan Goulette, our Technology Teacher.
Our team of specialists is lucky enough to get to meet, teach, and watch our students grow from as young as 4 years old all the way up to 4th Grade. We love to laugh and have fun with our kiddos, planning School Assemblies, Field Days, Concerts, Art Shows, and more!
I am absolutely delighted to introduce and extend a warm welcome to Officer Luis Rodriguez, who has joined our district as our new full-time School Resource Officer (SRO)!
A Commitment to Our Community
Officer Rodriguez is already a familiar and dedicated member of our Pittsfield community. He has called Pittsfield home since 2008, drawn here by his wife's family, who have been residents since about 1987. This deep connection to our town makes him an ideal person to serve in this critical role.
His commitment to Pittsfield is also evident through his own family. His two children, Hannah and Nico, have been educated right here in MSAD 53 schools, attending Manson Park School, Vickery School, Warsaw Middle School, and Maine Central Institute (MCI). Officer Rodriguez understands our schools and the importance of a safe learning environment from a parent's perspective.
A Wealth of Experience
Officer Rodriguez brings with him a decade of experience, having served as a police officer for about 10 years. This professional background, coupled with his personal investment in our community, will be invaluable in fostering a positive and secure atmosphere across all our campuses.
He shares our district's priority of ensuring a nurturing and protected space for all students. As he stated, he is "excited to see our town's children learn and grow in a warm, welcoming and safe environment."
We look forward to working closely with Officer Rodriguez as he serves as a mentor, educator, and law enforcement resource for our district. The warmest of welcomes to Officer Rodriguez!
