Dear Parents and Guardians, Lawrence Junior High School will be offering Homework Help for students beginning on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Teachers will be there to support students with their homework in all subject areas. Students can also use this time to get organized, study for tests, and work on class projects. Homework Help will take place in the Junior High School Library on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of each week; beginning at 2:05 and concluding at 3:00 pm. Once a month, Homework Help will host an activity period.Students will have the opportunity to learn something new, or enjoy a sweet treat. Due to the activity period, Homework Help will begin at 2:05 and conclude at 3:15. After school transportation is not provided. Students must have transportation at 3:00 pm concluding Homework Help. Communication for Homework Help will take place through the Remind App. In the event Homework Help is canceled a message will go out to parents and guardians. Parents and guardians may also message through the Remind app with any questions or concerns. Homework Help Expectations:
- Students will come to Homework Help ready to work!
- No cell phones will be allowed during Homework Help. Students are welcome to use their phones at the beginning or end to check in with their parent or guardian regarding transportation.
- Students must remain in the library during the duration of Homework Help.
