Classroom Expectations

Expectations and Student Progress

Our weekly schedule allows for a writing block to draft letters to our families. One day a week we reflect on the week and look forward to upcoming events. Each student writes a letter to their parents in their Home/School Journal, sharing important information about their week and giving reminders of upcoming events. These Home/School Journals provide a necessary communication link between home and school. Parents are encouraged to write back to their child, modeling a friendly letter. If a parent is busy and can't get to it, I ask them to sign the letter and return it to school. This indicates that they have seen the news and upcoming event reminders.

Student progress can be seen year round on Infinite Campus. MSAD implements the Infinite Campus system to share grades, along with any important notes from the district. Grades are updated on a regular basis. Parents are encouraged at any time to call to discuss students grades.
