L.O. - As potential energy decreases in an object kinetic energy increases in the same object
L.O. - Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, and Work are all forms of the same stuff - energy.

L.O. - Engineering and Design is a process of educated trial and error
L.O. - Review of Newton's Laws
L.O. - F=ma... when mass increases and acceleration stays the same, the force applied to the object must have increased
L.O. - F=ma ... when force increases, acceleration increases. When mass increases, acceleration decreases.
L.O. - we determine the forces acting on an object by analyzing its interactions
H.W. - Write-up Newton's Car report for next class
L.O. - Inertia is the resistance to change in motion. It is dependent on mass.
H.W. - finish calculations for next class. Lab write-up will be due Friday (3/23/18)
L.O. - Motion is relative...your perception of it depends on your perspective
L.O. - An object under constant acceleration, in 2 seconds will travel 4 x the distance traveled in 1 second. In 3 seconds it will travel 9 times the distance traveled in 1 second. In 4 seconds it will travel 16 times the distance traveled in 1 second.
H.W. - acceleration 3 write-up (period 3-O will do this for Monday)
L.O. - We can calculate distance traveled if given a constant acceleration and the time of travel2/15/18
H.W.
3-O: Graph Class Data
4:O: Graph Class Data
L.O. - We can calculate distance traveled if given a constant acceleration and the time of travel
L.O. - Practice Sketching Motion Graphs
L.O. - Knowing acceleration allows us to calculate final velocity, or any instantaneous velocity achieved after a given time of travel
L.O. - constant acceleration can be produced using gravity. Its graph is a curve on a d/t graph.
L.O. - We can "paint a picture" of a physical interaction using words, equations, and/or GRAPHS!!
L.O. - Speed is a comparison between distance traveled and amount of time that has passed.
L.O. - Measurements are formal observations of the world around you.
