There are a lot of different platforms to stream TV shows and movies. Each has its pros and cons when it comes to the price point or the variety of things to watch. Though some are better than others, these are the top five best streaming platforms on-demand.
Many platforms share rights to movies and TV shows, so you can find the same show in two different places. Except for a platform's originals and channels. So most of the ranking is based on platform price and the best shows and movies.
#5 - HBO Max
Max is ad-free and $16.99 a month. It also just has a good variety of shows.
#4 - Amazon Prime Video
Prime has a lot of new exclusive movies, but you do have to pay for steaming them on top of paying for the app. Prime also now has ads on certain shows and movies, but since Prime is only $8.99 a month.
#3 - Disney+
Disney+ has a lot of options for plans, now one of which includes Hulu and ESPN combined it. Which then has many on-demand watching options as well as the option for live TV. 15.99 a month with bundles services like hulu and Espn
#2 - Apple TV+
Even though Apple is limited to those who have Apple devices and accounts those who do have to enjoy some of the best originals out there. It's not too expensive for all it offers standing at $10.99 a month. Apple TV also has a lot of channels you can add on or connect to, so it's one of the better streaming places for people who can get it, but since only people who have Apple, it's not number one.
#1 - Paramount+
In recent years, Paramount has had the best new hot show. As of this year, there are lots of highly awaited shows, like the season third season of ‘Yellowjackets’ or the new crime spinoff, ‘Dexter: Original Sin.’ It's the best place to find your favorite on-demand shows. Paramount has lots of channels like Showtime and their originals, standing at $11.99 a month.
