Editor-in-Chief

Aria Fugler

Aria Fugler is a senior at Liberty High School this year, continuing on to her third year in Journalism. She is eager to share her experiences and passion for the written word to create a more involved environment among students. She is a large advocate for giving ALL students a voice and is expectant for her final year with Lancer Nation. She hopes to pursue a career in international relations and journalism after high school and expand her knowledge of current events around the world.

Bella Howard

Bella Howard is a sophomore at Liberty, and this is her second year in Journalism. She enjoys the opportunities and learning experiences in Journalism that led her to join and stay in this class. Outside of academics, she enjoys reading, writing, baking and spending time with friends and family. She also loves to play soccer and has been playing since she was three. This will be her second year playing for the Liberty soccer team.

Bella Ferrick

Bella Ferrick is a senior at Liberty. This is her third year in Journalism, and she continues her role as the Sports Editor. Bella is very grateful to work with her classmates to create a great news source for the school. She loves spending time with her family. Outside of Journalism, she likes to bake and dance. She hopes to pursue a career in culinary after graduating.

Finn KennY

Finn Kenny is a sophomore at Liberty High School, and this is his second year in Journalism. He has always had a love for photography and is learning more about writing everyday, as it is becoming something he quite enjoys. He has experience in journalism, from being in yearbook for two years. Finn loves the outdoors and climbing. He is also always in the library reading books.

Jillian Deeds

Jillian Deeds is a senior at Liberty. After three years in Journalism, she is this year's Opinion Editor. Jillian has a passion for the student newspaper. Jillian also has a passion for theatre. If she's not taking photos or writing articles, she can be found backstage sewing costumes.

Rowan Sosovec

Rowan Sosovec is a Junior at Liberty High School and is entering his third year into the journalism program. Rowan is on the Varsity Soccer team at Liberty and has been playing soccer since he was three years old. Rowan is unsure of what he wants to do in college but would like to pursue some type of Journalism in the future. In His free time, Rowan likes to hang out with his family and friends, and play video games like madden and fifa.

Thomas South

Thomas South is a sophomore at Liberty, and this is his second year in Journalism. South likes photography and sports journalism. South is an avid skier and cyclist outside of school, and is on the Highlanders MTB team. South plans to continue studying journalism in high school and college.

MADDY DAHL

Maddy Dahl is a sophomore at Liberty High School, and this is her first year in Journalism. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the barn for show jumping and riding her horse, Fiona. Maddy wants to pursue a career in the marketing industry, and she believes journalism is a crucial step to get you there.

KANE MCDANIEL

Kane McDaniel is a sophomore at Liberty High School, this is his first year in journalism. He is passionate about guitar and anything music-related and loves to write. He is in a band called Yield with his friends. He thinks free speech is a pillar of a healthy community and hopes to help promote that belief now and forever.

AYDEN MYERS

Ayden Myers is a Sophomore at Liberty High School, and this is his first year in Journalism. He has a deep passion for collaborative and exploratory writing. In his spare time, he usually plays pool, goes for walks, and enjoys binge watching some of his favorite Netflix Series. He is looking forward to being a part of journalism this year and contributing to the Liberty Peak Press community.

BENNETT MONSON

Bennett Monson is a sophomore at Liberty, and this is his first year in journalism. He loves to read and write and is excited to be a part of the Peak Press. In his free time, he likes to code games, write his own stories, and spend time with his family of nine. He likes to play tennis, football, and basketball as well as watch BYU sports, Go cougars!

Eowyn Holmes is a Senior at Liberty High School, and this is her first year in Journalism. In her free time she enjoys activities such as hiking with her dog, or traveling around the city and sightseeing. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, with various activities like watching movies, playing games, or just spending time with one another.

Micah Mills is a sophomore at Liberty High School this year. This year is her first year in journalism. She deeply enjoys writing, photography, drawing, and other creative activities! She is actively a part of Liberty’s Marching band as a flutist. Music and art both play a huge role in her life. She loves to try new things and has a desire to learn!

ALISON MING

Alison Ming is a sophomore at Liberty high school and this is her first year in journalism. She loves photography and is looking forward to elevating her writing style. Alison also enjoys snowboarding and hanging out with her family. During the summer she's always outside going on adventures and hanging out with friends. This year she’s hoping to become a better writer and just enjoy highschool.

MIA KNOX

Mia Knox is a Senior at Liberty high school. She really likes drawing and anything with art and has grown a love for photography since she was in yearbook last year. Mia transferred here in the middle of sophomore year and has made a lot of friends along the way. Writing and journaling is one of her biggest passions as well as photography, but not as much as gaming.
