This learning outcome applies to many different types of questions. You can be asked to:
- Plot points on a coordinate plane that represent locations on a map
- Calculate the distance between two (or more) points on a coordinate plane
- Find the independent and dependent variables and create a table and graph from a scenario

** Remember, you can find the distance between two points on a coordinate plane by:
- Counting hops OR
- Adding the absolute values of the coordinates that are different

** Remember, the absolute value method will ONLY work if the two points are located in different quadrants that are next to each other.
