Hello incredible 6th graders!
Ms. K here! I am so excited and passionate about developing better resources for you all to use in order to continue practicing and showing mastery of our learning outcomes. I am working on making a new class website this year that will provide you with more access to all of the materials we have used throughout the year such as classwork handouts, reference posters, video explanations, and lots of practice problems!
Currently, each unit is going up as we get to it!
How to Use this Website to REVIEW & upgrade
You should use this website whenever you want to review, practice, and prepare to upgrade a learning outcome!
Step 1: You can find the learning outcome you want to upgrade by either scrolling down on this home page and looking for the LO # and text in each unit, or, by selecting the unit in the upper-right corner of the site, and using the drop down menu to find the specific LO #.
Step 2: Use the completed classwork handouts, videos, reference poster photos, and student work samples to jot down notes on your upgrade ticket.
Step 3: Use the links to practice problems and Khan Academy to show work for at least 5 practice problems on your upgrade work tracker. Make sure that at least two of the practice problems you do are word problems!
When your upgrade tracker is complete, get it signed-off by a teacher so you can complete your upgrade! Remember, practice can be done at home, but upgrades must be done in class!
