Welcome to 3B!
This will be my 30th year doing what I love—teaching children! My teaching career began in Champaign Schools. This will be my seventeenth year teaching at Lincoln Trail. Prior to the 2024-25 school year, I taught fifth grade at LT, but decided that I wanted to return to third grade, where my teaching career began! I couldn't be any more excited about being back in 3rd Grade! I am continually impressed by the wonderful students and their parents, as well as the excellent staff at Lincoln Trail.
On a personal note, my husband and I have five boys between us, all of whom attended Mahomet-Seymour Schools. We love the sense of community in Mahomet. The strong parental involvement and the outstanding reputation of the Mahomet schools are the main reasons I was inspired to seek a teaching position here. I truly believe in the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Parents and teachers are critical members of that village!
