Mr. and Mrs. Moores
Hello! I am Mrs. Moores. I am starting my 20th and LAST year as a teacher. I have taught in Champaign schools for 12 years as a fifth-grade teacher and 5 years as a fourth-grade teacher. This will be my fifth and final year teaching 5th grade at Lincoln Trail.
I am a mom to two children; I have one daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. I have two dogs, Zeke (6) and Maverick (11), and one cat, Peregrine (2 years). I have been married for 35 years to my husband, Mike. Mike is a surgical nurse at Gibson Area Hospital. My daughter, Fallynne, is an E.R. nurse. My son, Trevor, works as a youth services coordinator at Goodman Community Center in Madison, Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife, Daniella, a chemist, and their twins, Elodie and Gabriel.
I love lifting weights, riding my bike (you might even see me riding to school), and walking my dogs. I also love to swim, read, and quilt and/or crochet in my spare time.
I grew up in Oswego, Illinois. I have five brothers: Jeff, Tony, Randy, Steve, and Rick.
