MATH - addition/subtraction fluency within 20, add/subtract by regrouping with larger numbers, counting to 120, measurement, time to the hour/half hour, fractions (halves, quarters), data/graphing
ELA: FUNDATIONS - phonics, sight word recognition, decoding/blending words with short vowel sounds/long vowel sounds, multiple syllables, digraphs, glued sounds, etc.
ELA: WRITING - informative/explanatory, opinion, narrative paragraphs, writing with age appropriate spelling/punctuation/capitalization, adding details
ELA: GRAMMAR - basic exposure to nouns, verbs, adjectives, sentence types, etc.
ELA: READING - reading fiction/nonfiction text at independent and instructional levels, comprehension of text, analysis of text and characters, etc.
SCIENCE - study of living/non living things, natural resources, sounds, light, universe,
SOCIAL STUDIES - study of the world around us including our natural resources and community, as well as historical moments
SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING - learning self-control, appropriate study habits, self-confidence, empathy, understanding
