Hi! I'm Alexa and I'm a senior at Masconomet Regional High School. I'm interested in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism where I can shoot and edit the stories of different communities. Here's a quick list of some of my accomplishments so far!
Director of my high school's weekly broadcast, the Morning Update.
Editor-in-chief of my high school's newspaper, the Chieftain Chronicle.
One of 27 high school students accepted into the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs Summer Academy.Â
Highlighted as one of the 20 under 20 storytellers for the PBS NewsHour Student Reporting Labs.
All-State High School Journalism Staff by the Massachusetts Scholastic Press Association.
Recipient of the 2023 Richard G. Zimmerman scholarship from the National Press Club.
