Guidance Resources
The middle school provides one school counselor serving both 7th and 8th grade students. School guidance and counseling is committed to providing individual, classroom and consultative services to our middle school students, staff and parents. School counseling services are designed to help students achieve educational, career related and personal & social goals that are consistent with individual interests, needs, and abilities. The program is built upon the belief that each student will continue developing their skills at becoming a self-directed and responsible learner, who is unique and capable of making meaningful contributions to the school community and will be provided every opportunity to reach and create a path for their personal, academic and career goals. The school counselor works closely with students, parents, and teachers. Parent/teacher conferences can be arranged at any time upon request. Parent/teacher conferences are encouraged and may be initiated by the student, teacher, parent, administrator, or support services personnel.
