Each year our senior athletic teams are celebrated by our school, specifically, our staff. Towards the end of their season, the senior teams will take on the GSS Staff in a modified version of their sport. This acknowledgement of our senior athletes typically occurs on a Collaboration day, during lunch. All students are invited to come and join in the celebrations. Often we will have a concession on site for students to purchase goodies. Money raised goes back to The Rebellion. Fall season will see staff take on:

• Senior Boys Soccer
• Senior Girls Volleyball

During the winter, our staff expands their reportoie and takes on all of our basketball teams in a combine score competition. "The Ballers Cup" is the annual prize for the winning squad. In 2018/19, the students beat the staff by 5 points to claim the first annual Ballers Cup. The battle included games against:

• Grade 8 Girls
• Grade 8 Boys
• Grade 9 Boys
• Senior Boys

Finally, during the Spring, we celebrate our Badminton and Ultimate teams. These teams are open teams containing senior students.

Tuesday, October 29th during lunch the Senior Boys Soccer team will take on the GSS Staff members in a game of Indoor Soccer. Bring your friends down to the gym, take advantage of the concession on hand and enjoy some quality soccer and entertainment. Prizes for audience members.

Friday, November 15th during lunch the Senior Girls Volleyball team will take on the GSS Staff members in a game of Volleyball. Bring your friends down to the gym, take advantage of the concession on hand and enjoy some quality volleyball and entertainment. Prizes for audience members.
