Rules

MVMS ID cards are required to check out library books. Books are checked out for a period of 2 weeks and students may continue to renew the book until they are done, UNLESS there is a wait list for the book. If so, the book will need to be returned by the 2-week mark (The 'Due Date' card is in the pocket of the book.) Students are responsible for returning their books on time.

Grade level textbooks are available for use in the library.

No food or drinks are permitted in the library.

Students will show respect to others in the library by caring for the space, being mindful of their peers, and helping to maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning

All school rules apply, i.e: No gum chewing, hats removed, no cell phones, texting or iPods in use while in the library.

All equipment and materials are to be used in an appropriate manner.

Return all borrowed materials in good condition & in a timely manner.

Any student not following the above rules may lose library privileges.

Computers are available for school related use. Ask the Librarian.

The library is a place for homework, studying, reading, or other activities that cannot be done outside. Please respect the students who are using the library to concentrate, work on assignments, participate in library activities, and relax.
