About Me

My wife and I married in 2023 after her visa was approved (only 30 months processing time!). We are both gamers (she's much better), and we like bothering our cats, going for walks when LA isn't too hot, and trolling each other. We especially love zoos and museums, although we don't spurn a nice park. We are perpetually debating whether beaches or mountains are better, and are thus delighted to have both in Los Angeles.

Cats have been part of my adult life since my second year of law school, and an awful lot of my identity is tied up in being a cat dad. When I was interviewing, they frequently showed up to help, and now that I'm in a job, they think they should be allowed to supervise both my writing and my teaching.
