WHAT IS RAPTOR ALERT?

Raptor Alert is a quiet emergency alert system that works on the devices your school uses every day. It helps speed up and make emergency response more efficient by letting people send an alert directly to 911. It also lets them give important information to the first responders, police, and people on the school campus.

HOW DO I USE IT?

INITIATING AN EMERGENCY

Once initiated, users can call or text 911 directly from the mobile app.
Raptor Alert automatically shares critical information (name, number, and precise locations) to dispatchers. Users can also group chat or share location, floor plans, or other important information.
RA provides real time data location and status of everyone on campus.

Emergency Services - Call or text 911. This feature cannot be simulated! Exercise caution. Emergency services will be called.

Group Messaging - Group text others in your site group and share location (if enabled)

My Profile and Roster - Account for yourself and class roster

GROUP MESSAGING

Once initiated, users can call or text 911 directly from the mobile app.

Raptor Alert automatically shares critical information (name, number, and precise locations) to dispatchers. Users can also group chat or share location, floor plans, or other important information through Group Messaging. RA provides real time data location and status of everyone on campus.

Share Location - Sharing your location will only work if you chose to share your location with Raptor Alert during the app download process. Clicking this alert will share a Google map of your location.

Emergency Services - Call or text 911. This feature cannot be simulated! Exercise caution. Emergency services will be called.

Messaging - Communicate with fellow staff by sending a normal text message. Based on district policy, you can communicate with the entire staff. Recommended: Send info about event, injured students, or injured staff.

TEAM ASSIST

In today's world, it's crucial to handle everyday incidents effectively, such as dealing with upset parents or addressing conflicts in the hallway. Raptor Alert's Team Assist feature enables teachers and staff to request help for localized incidents. Districts have the flexibility to customize the types of Team Assist situations, notifications, and recipients for each situation, using text messages, emails, voice calls, and push notifications.
