How to search for a book in the MRHS Destiny catalog. Click here to access our online catalog.
Step 1
Click on the link to our the MRHS Destiny catalog here. It will take you to the page you see about. Click on "Manchester."
Step 2
If you are looking for a specific book (for example, you know the title), use the "search bar."
Step 3
If you don't have a specific book in mind, but you know what genre you like to read, click on the "sublocation." You will see a drop down menu of genres to choose from. For example, maybe you like fantasy. When you activate the drop down menu, click on fantasy, and you will see all of the books we have available that fit that description.
Step 4
After you select the genre you are interested in, click on "keyword." This will take you to all of the book titles in your selected genre.
Looking for a nonfiction book? Or a fiction book that deals with a certain subject matter/theme, (for example, LGBTQ, family illness, growing up, etc..) follow step 4 and keyword search a topic that you have in mind. Remember to use synonyms (different words with the same/similar meanings) while keyword searching!
