MOUNT ROSKILL SCIENCE FAIR TIMELINE AND DATES

TERM 2: by week 3 --> decide on project topic.

rest of term 2 --> prepare materials, do experiments, carry out research

TERM 2 / TERM 3 holidays --> finalise experimental details, opportunity for in-depth research

TERM 3: week 1 --> put project onto display boards

week 3 (8 Aug) --> bring project to school and set up for judging (in P2)

9 Aug --> projects judged and selected for regional finals

11 Aug --> candidates for Regional finals notified

11 Aug - 18 Aug --> candidates make amendments / improvements to projects

--> Self register for science fair / check all admin requirements

30 Aug --> Students present at judging to present their projects

REGIONAL FINALS:

Entries Close - Friday 18^th August

Fair Set up MRGS: BUTLER HALL - Thursday 30^th August from 5.00 pm - 8.30 pm

Judging Day - Friday 31^st August 8:45 am - 10:15 am

Public Viewing - Friday 31st August 5.00 pm - 9 pm and Saturday 1st September 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
