Min-Quan Junior High School is located in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 1968 and has been in operation for over 55 years. The school's motto is "Sincerity, integrity, and diligence."
The school's development can be divided into the following stages:
Founding period (1962-1971): The first principal, Chen Shuimu, planned and built the school's facilities. The school officially moved to its current location in 1963.
Development period (1972-1985): The second principal, Lin Mingzhe, opened a night school, established the school's motto, and created the gifted education program.
Expansion period (1986-2000): The third principal, Zhao Huifang, the fourth principal, Chen Meizhi, and the fifth principal, Zeng Zhengji, strengthened environmental beautification, established special education and resource classes for students with disabilities, and created a brain development room.
Improvement period (2001-2015): The sixth principal, Yang Zhenlong, the seventh principal, Xue Yicai, and the eighth principal, Chen Chunmei, won numerous education awards, added a sports team, and renovated the school.
Refinement period (2016-2023): The ninth principal, Zhu WuWo, implemented diversified and sophisticated teaching, integrated information technology into education administration and teaching, and won the National Excellent Teaching Team Award.
The current principal,(HSU YA-CHUNG Â , 2023~) , continues to lead the school, focusing on bilingual education, with student learning at the core of education. Embracing diverse education and emphasizing differentiated teaching, the school is moving towards international education.
