Mariner Community Engagement
In collaboration with The Village Project Inc., your Mariner Football Family hosted a field day of Fun, Food, and exercise! We took to the time to sit down and discuss the importance of mental health, and the positive impact exercise can have on your mental health. Special thank you to The Village Project Inc. Please enjoy the recap video, and we look forward to hosting Mental Health Day 2023!
Joint Sponsored event by the Zoom Academy and The Mariner Family
Mariner Sponsored Youth Football Camp
Our Mariner Football Family had an amazing opportunity to participate in a peer to peer support group to work and learn along side our amazing special education team. The Mariner Football Team went through a course on the different challenges and learning styles of our L.E.A.P. Program, Taught by one of our very own Phenomenal Special Education Teachers Mrs. Kisha Ferguson. After they participated in the course and group discussion, The Special Education Team and Your Mariner Football team sat down to have lunch together. This event turned out amazing and was definitely a unique experience! Special thanks to Mrs. Judy Luckert and Mrs. Kisha Ferguson for organizing this event. #GoMariners!
Highlights
Even during the Pandemic, your Marina Mariners were out serving in the community. Following the current COVID protocols during this time, we safely Participated in the community food bank distribution which helped distribute free food to families in need during the tough times of the pandemic. A cornerstone motto of our program is centered around LOVE. Love for our program, School, Community, ad everybody we meet each day. If you say our young Mariners out in the community please encourage them to keep up the good work in the community as we look to serve this amazing city.
