I believe that afterschool isn’t just about activities—it’s about connection, growth, and community. It's the part of the day where EVERY student can shine and belong! My favorite part of the job is seeing students light up with excitement. Outside of work, I enjoy paddleboarding, wandering with my dogs, art, and reading a good book in the sunshine.

I love nature, animals, and art! I live on a homestead with my husband and four boys! We have chickens, pigs, goats, kitties, two crazy dogs, and a couple of turkeys. I like to combine nature with art, and I love sharing that passion with kids!

I'm Lara, a mom of two tiny tornados and three chunky cats. I'm utterly obsessed with pigs. I thrive on messy chaos like slime, painting, building projects, science experiments, and cooking. Being a kid at heart makes working with kiddos an absolute blast.
