On Friday, March 21st eight students from Bennet represented Manchester at the Elementary Honors Festival, which took place at Central Connecticut State University. Caleb S., Hannah B., and Mikaela L. were selected for orchestra from the students nominated by Ms. Jordan. Marshall K. and Mya R. were selected for band from the students nominated by Mr. Garrison. Avant C., Maliya A., and Princess Y. were selected for chorus fromt he students nominated by Ms. Mellon. They rehearsed with other 5th and 6th grade students from all over the state of Connecticut throughout the day and performed a concerts for families in the afternoon.  

Bennet String Ensemble joined the Illing and Manchester High School Chamber Orchestras for Chamber Day to rehearse the combined piece that will be played at the Orchestra Townwide Concert on February 27th!
