All Students in Manchester take General Music as part of their specials rotation. Once students are in 4th grade they are able to decide to play in the Band or the Orchestra.

Elementary Music Offerings
General Music offers a wide variety of musical experiences for students in Elementary School including singing, movement, instrument playing, and note reading. 4th grade chorus students have the opportunity to participate in Townwide Chorus in the spring. When students are in 3rd grade they learn about the different instrument families and can choose to learn a band or orchestra instrument in 4th grade through our 4th grade instrumental program.

Ms. Stickle teaches 4th grade Band at all 7 elementary schools in Manchester. Band instruments include Flute, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, Trumpet, and Trombone.

Ms. Morin teaches 4th grade Orchestra at all 7 elementary schools in Manchester. Orchestra instruments include Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass.
