Jazz Bands

In jazz band, students study all types of music and learn to listen and improvise. 

Jazz Band meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00- 8:00 am, before school, in the Illing band room. This is an advanced group, entry is by audition only. Students who are accepted will be challenged to improvise, and play more technically demanding repertoire.

Studio Band meets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 am, before school in the Illing Band room. This group is open to all students that are interested in Jazz and improvisation. Studio band meets in conjunction with the Hoop Band during the basketball season.
