Chromebook Troubleshooting
Chromebook not working as expected?
Try these steps to resolve the issue:
Refresh the page by hitting the refresh button (use keyboard diagram below for assistance)
Restart by holding down the refresh and power button together for a few seconds.
Check to make sure the student is logged into their school account in the upper right-hand corner and not a personal gmail (see image to the right----------------->)
When all else fails, try turning it off and on again!

Basic Care
Use the alcohol wipe provided or Isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth if you want to clean the device.
Never use anything else on the Chromebook as it can damage the screen or other parts of the device.
Store in a cool, dry place where it isn’t likely to be stepped on, sat on or dropped.
Only use the charger provided. If something happens to that charger, please contact infosys@mpspride.org
Logging In
Click Add Person in the bottom left of the screen. Type in the student’s @mpspride.org account then password.
Chromebooks will only work with an @mpspride.org account.
Log-in Procedures:
Username: (Year of graduation from HS)(first 3 letters of first name)(first 3 letters of last name)
Example: 26HopMul
Password: Lunch Code or Lunch Code twice
Example: 12345 or 1234512345
Connecting WiFi on a Chromebook
Step 1: Click on the Quick Settings Panel at the bottom right of your screen
Step 2: Click on "no network"
Step 3: Select your WiFi network
Step 4: Enter the password if it calls for one
If you have problems joining your Chromebook to the WiFi, try the following:
1. Turn off the Chromebook (holding the power button is okay)
2. Turn the Chromebook back on.
3. Connect to your home WiFi.
4. You should see a screen that says "Sign in to your Chromebook". Leave the Chromebook on this screen for 5-10 minutes.
5. Restart the Chromebook again
