Brain Mash!
Welcome to Brain Mash - Mashpee's favorite brainteaser competition!
There will be 2 questions posted each day at 5:00pm - one for middle school students and one for high school students. Please answer only the question for your grade. Students may work alone or with family and friends. No technology may be used to answer questions, this includes calculators. Post your answers, please be clear, the first correct answer wins! Each winner will receive two tickets to a special Barnstable Haunted History Tour on May 17th at 6:00 PM. Have fun and happy thinking.

MARCH 30 - APRIL 3, 2020 (1 week)
MMHS LEARNER EXPECTATIONS
Spend at least 15 hours (3 hours per day--do not have to be contiguous) engaged in learning through the online sites linked below and/or specific learning activities assigned by your teacher.
In addition to the above, we expect all students to do the following on a daily basis:
Check school email (firstname.lastname@mpspk12.org) and Google Classroom(s)
Read for pleasure
Draw/write in a journal
Exercise/play/music practice
Explore their creative side
Spend time helping family and community (while practicing physical distancing)

APRIL 6 - 10; APRIL 13 - 17; APRIL 27 - MAY 1, 2020 (3 Weeks)
Note: There will be no distance learning during the scheduled April vacation week (4/20 - 4/24)
All completed distance learning assignments will be included when determining a student’s performance.
MMHS LEARNER EXPECTATIONS
Spend at least 15 hours per week engaged in teacher-directed learning:
8 hours/week engaged in teacher-assigned learning through the Edgenuity online platform --(2 hours for each core content area: ELA, Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences)
7 hours/week engaged in teacher-directed learning related to non-core classes/electives
In addition to the above, we expect all students to do the following on a daily basis:
Read for pleasure
Draw/journal writing
Exercise/play/music practice
Explore their creative side
Engage in enrichment through online sites linked below.
Spend time helping family and community (while practicing physical distancing)
