Last year, I recorded some drumming exercises with a couple of my friends-follow along with us! Find a "drum" at home and practice echoing some rhythms and improvise your own. Buckets, trash bins, plastic containers all make great drums!
First, echo what Mrs. Smith plays on her drum. Second, listen to Mrs. Smith's pattern and change it a little when you play. When you make up your own pattern, that is called improvising! You can also follow along with Mrs. McCleery's repeated pattern while you listen!
