Grab a piece of paper and write your opinion on the following prompt:

Would you rather have an e-learning day or the day off? 

e-learning day- students would HAVE work to complete during the day, but would NOT have an added school day to the end of the school year.

day off- students would have NO work to complete during the day, but would HAVE an added school day at the end of the school year.

Please make sure it is at least five sentences. Your opinion writing needs a topic sentence stating your opinion, 3 evidence sentences that support your opinion, and a conclusion sentence restating your opinion.  Use the template below for guidance on how to set up your 5 sentence paragraph. 

When you are finished:

• Read over your writing and make sure you have five sentences in total. This means capitals at the beginning and punctuation at the end of each sentence (complete thought). Also, check did I indent at the start of the paragraph?

• Double check that your handwriting is neat and your teacher can read it!

• Read it aloud to yourself or a sibling to make sure what you wrote makes sense!

• Take a clear picture of it and upload it to Seesaw for your teacher to read or bring to school on Monday.
