Mr. Rutan at a Glance

This will be my ninth year as a full-time teacher. I graduated from the University of Nebraska - Omaha in December of 2016 and worked as a substitute teacher for a semester before accepting a position with BMS. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with the wonderful staff and students at Beadle and am looking forward to a successful, fun filled year.

My wife, Ashley, and I are raising two busy children - Harper, 18 and Coen, 9. I am passionate about sports and live music. Over the last 20 years or so, I have been to over 150 live shows! My older son is a freshman at UNL, and my younger son is currently trying out football, basketball, and baseball to see which one sticks.
