Students in fourth and fifth grade can read any 10 books from this year's Millard Reads! book list to participate in this year's Rohwer's Reading Club/Quiz Bowl.
Students will read a book and take a quiz to show what they remember.
Students must score an 80% or higher
Quizzes can only be taken once in a 24 hour period, and taken a max of 3 times.
All quizzes MUST be taken on a Millard device. Access will not be granted to accounts outside of Millard.
Students will record their quizzes for the Millard Reads book list they've taken on sheet provided by their homeroom teacher.
The logs should be returned to their homeroom teacher no later than the last school day of each quarter to be evaluated for a prize.
**We encourage students to keep these in their homework pockets to be filled out throughout the quarter.
Bronze Award= 3 MPS Book Club Books read
Silver Award= 6 MPS Book Club Books read
Gold Award= 10 MPS Book Club Books read
However, if students read and take the quizzes for THIS YEAR'S Millard Reads Book List, they can join the Quiz Bowl as well!
To join the club, students should read 6 of this year's Millard Read books by January.
Club meetings will start at the end of January.
The 10 books should be finished by April
As we approach January, students that have completed their Reading Logs and will receive information about the Rohwer's Reading Club/Quiz Bowl.
**Parents are encouraged to read the summaries and/or watch the trailers for the MPS-Rohwer Book Club prior to students reading them.**
