Hey Y’ALL! I’m Margo Livingston, the Lead Literacy Interventionist here at Rohwer Elementary. My journey in education began back in 2000 after I earned my Elementary Education (K–6) degree from the University of South Alabama. (Yes—I’m a proud Southern girl... Roll Tide!)
After moving to Omaha, I continued my passion for teaching and learning by earning a Master’s in Reading (K–12) in 2010 and a Master’s in Administration (K–12) in 2013, both from the University of Nebraska–Omaha. Over the years, I’ve taught a wide range of grade levels in both Alabama and Nebraska, and every step has deepened my love for helping students grow as readers.
Outside of school, my heart belongs to my beautiful family. I am blessed with three daughters, —as well as three wonderful grandchildren: one sweet granddaughter and two energetic grandsons! My weekends are filled with swimming, golfing, traveling, D.I.Y. projects, family time, and, of course, plenty of reading.
I’m so excited to be part of the Rohwer community and can’t wait to support our students on their literacy journey!
