October 25TH Newsletter
Hello Rockwell Community,
This was such an exciting week! We celebrated Red Ribbon Week and raised money for United Way! Thank you to everyone who participated in this great event.
Next week we have our Halloween Parties and we look forward to our school wide parade and parties to follow. The parade will begin at 2:00 inside the building. Students will exit the building through door 7 and parents can stand alongside the sidewalk to watch the parade. Students will enter back through the main doors and begin the party around 2:30.
Report cards are coming home in Friday Folders today, please be sure to double check those backpacks for that important information.
Sincerely,
Laura Malcom
You Are A Piece Of Our Puzzle
Mrs. Anderson- Thank you Mrs. Anderson for your willingness to cover and support throughout the building. We know it takes extra energy and planning to lend a helping hand, you're awesome!
Mrs. VanRooyan- Congratulations on being named Millard Public School's Foundation Rockstar winner for this year! Your extra communication, energy, and effort didn't go unnoticed.
Mrs. Torring- I wanted to give a shout out to Bridgette for her grand idea for a student. Simply having the kiddo move my pointed finger magnet on my schedule has helped her tremendously! What an easy and effective support for her! Thanks for your help!
Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Click on the link below and enter the online order code shown on your child's order form or to search for your child's artwork. Then, have fun shopping! Orders are due by Friday, October 25th.
Week of Oct 21-25 Team B
Our fifth grade students will continue to provide crosswalk coverage at each of the crosswalks. This year supervision at those crosswalks will run from 8:10-8:25am and 3:25-3:40, 2:25-2:40 (W). If your child is needing to cross before/after that time, please plan to have an adult walk them across.
With the weather changing, please make sure your student on safety patrol is dressed for the weather.
