2nd Grade Spelling- read here about what spelling will look like this year.

In 2nd grade we will be taking weekly Spelling Tests. The weekly assignments will have two grades in the grade book. One grade will be for Spelling Daily Work that we will have students complete in the classroom. The second grade will be for the Spelling Tests that we will give on Fridays. Words will be marked wrong if they have backwards letters or capital letters where they do not belong. Please make sure your child is practicing writing their words correctly at home.  It is very important that your child practice their spelling words at home as well as at school. Below you will find a list of all of the spelling lists for the school year. We will also send a new list home every Friday in the student Friday Folders.
