I am excited to be starting my 23rd year of teaching Lower Elementary in Norris Elementary. I have recently completed a two year LETRS certification program to support learners in their language arts journey. I am excited to apply all I have learned as we navigate new reading and writing curricula this year.
My husband Dave and I live in our forever home at Beaver Lake just south of Plattsmouth. We celebrated our 38th anniversary this year. In the summer months, we enjoy boating, swimming, and flower gardening. We keep ourselves busy with our two energetic dogs, Teddy and Dani. We have also been claimed by a loving TNR community cat. We call him Dexter. We attempted to give Dexter an indoor home but he wasn’t having it! So he spends his days lounging on our deck and his nights under it. We have two adult daughters, Amanda and Marissa, that live in the Omaha area. We are blessed to have them so close.

Mrs. Shrock is our new school counselor. She will be at Norris everyday this year. We are so excited to have a full time counselor again this year. Mrs. Shrock will visit our classroom every other Thursday, from 2:25-3:25.
