I have various meetings, sports, and clubs but always have time in my week if you need it! Thanks
My husband & I have a large blended family. We have been together for 7 years. We have 2 kids that live in the home & 5 that are grown & visit often. One of our grown children has gifted us with three beautiful grandchildren (they call me Gigi)
*I live in South Omaha by the zoo in a really old, cool house. It takes me 30 minutes to get to work, which is good as I need a lot of time to jam out to my music ;) Both my parents are together (50 years now) -they live in TX (I miss them a lot! They play Mr. & Mrs. Clause every year). I have a cat (Mr. Man) and a dog (Sully)...they are both rather spoiled.
*My husband is a very hard worker & is the best in his industry.
*I attend concerts, music festivals, or live music events as much as I can.
*Cooking (AND eating)...LOVE flavorful foods, YUM. I prefer to eat home cooked meals & am very inventive in my kitchen.
*I am the female wrestling coach here at Beadle.
*Spending time with my friends (they are like family to me). I enjoy camping, dancing, talking, and all around good times with my friends!
*I am certified to teach grades K-12. I graduated with my undergrad at Eastern New Mexico University at Roswell.
*I earned my Master's (Improvement of Instruction) while completing the CADRE program at UNO.
* I worked 1 year as Professional Learning Specialist for Amplify (our science curriculum in Millard).
*I have 33 hours ABOVE my Master's Degree & will continue for more education, regardless of being maxed out this summer (I will forever be a life long learner).
* Over the summer: I took 9 credit hours that taught me a lot (I attended the NE Writer's workshops and highly recommend that post grad course to ANY teacher).
*This is my 18th year of teaching, sixteen of those are here at Beadle. My first job, I taught at a small rural school in Lake Arthur, NM (I was the entire language arts department for the high school. It was a lot of fun to work in this school as it had Pre-k-12th grade!). For 9 of my past years, I taught Reading here at Beadle. This will be my 7th year teaching science (and 5th with STEM) & I am excited about this new year!
