HOMEWORK

  • Homework Packets go home every Thursday and are due back the following Wednesday morning.

  • Includes 3-4 Math pages, reading log based on the reading skill of the week, 3 spelling practice pages, and any other information/study guides.

  • Students are expected to read at least 10 minutes at home five days+ each week…the more the better. Reading out loud is the best way for them to practice fluency! Reading with your children is the best tool you can give them!

  • Cover that includes weekly announcements, reminders, and upcoming tests.

  • Please help your child as needed, check their work, and sign the packet every week.

Mrs. Thompson

Hi there! I am Valle Thompson and I am a 2nd Grade teacher at Disney Elementary. I am originally from Missouri (GoTigers!), and received my my BA in Elementary Education and Special Education from Mount Olive University in North Carolina. Currently, I am earning my Master's in Administration from Wayne State. My husband, Ethan, is in the military and his career has taken us around the world and finally here to Nebraska! I enjoy time with family, shopping, and spending days with my two daughters

In my classroom, you are cared about. I value your ideas, thoughts, and actions. All of my students bring something unique to our classroom!
