Individualized Learning Objectives
The students in our Alternate Curriculum Program are all unique and have their own unique learning plans and objectives.
We will be using a variety of resources this year, combining digital and hands-on learning, to help students succeed in the way that is best for them.
About me
I guess you can say teaching is in my blood as both of my parents were teachers. I grew up seeing the impact they had on their students. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and hope to have the same impact on students. I feel that students are our future and I want to help them to reach their potential and be the best they can be.
I have a special place in my heart for individuals with different abilities (I dislike the term disabilities), as I have brothers with different abilities. I love watching them learn and grow. Being a part of the learning process for them is a bonus and gift I treasure.
I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I finished my graduate degree in Special Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
