What is a mystery reader?

A mystery reader is a family member who volunteers to come read a story to our class! This could be a parent, grandparent, sibling, etc. This is a great way to get involved in our classroom in a short period of time! Being a mystery reader only takes 10-15 minutes! We normally welcome readers on Fridays after lunch (12:30-12:45) but we can be flexible.

How do I sign up?

Click on the textbooks to the left, it will take you to our sign up sheet. Find a date that works for you! I will then reach out and ask if you could give 3 clues or fun facts about your student in class.

How does it work?

You will check into the office at 12:30. While you are checking in, I will read the clues to our class and they can make guesses on who they think is coming. Once they have made their guesses, I will call down to the office and Mrs. Leroux will send you to our classroom. Please keep this a secret from your child!! :)

Do I bring my own book?

Many people like to bring in their child's favorite book, but I can also supply one for you!
