First Quarter Poem Project: Students chose either "A Tragic Story" or "A Pobble Who Has No Toes" and can create a Puppet Pals presentation, recite the poem, create a Canva poster, or a traditional poster and will earn points in Writing for their work.
Second Quarter Poem Project: Students read the poem "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" and they drew a representation of each stanza of the poem. I really enjoyed their drawings and was happy to see variety in their work.
Third Quarter Poem Project: "George Washington" and this time students had 3 choices with Puppet Pals as they perform the poem via the app, Doodle Buddy with a drawing of each of the 4 stanzas, and then Canva where they had to use images, background, and other options to accurately portray the two page poem.
Into Math offers a Unit Project that covers 3 modules/units (the first two unit creations are presented below) and with that comes several opportunities for students to research about topic such as how to construct the "Perfect Park" and this park needs to be 200 square meters. students will create sketches and perform research about parks and area. From there students can create a Canva display or a similar project, and then present to their classmates. I will do my best to post their work on SeeSaw or this website.
