Once students have taken MAP, you will need to place students at the appropriate level in Waggle. Refer to these directions on manual Waggle placement. A student's placement can be adjusted any time throughout the year, particullary after MAP has been taken as needed. Once a student's Waggle level has been set, auto assigning will be turned on.
Recommended Time Commitment: Students typically use Waggle approximately three times a week in 20-minute increments. The time spent on different learning activities can vary based on individual student needs and learning goals. For in depth information, refer to the following Research provided by HMH.
There is not a set district guideline on when to use IXL or Waggle. Make this decision based on the needs of your students and what motivates them the most.
