6:30PM - Call time (Concert dress is "rock star costume" Dress as your favorite rock star. Makeup and wigs are encouraged. Wear all black if you don't want to wear a costume.)
6:35PM - Tuning check
6:40PM - Move to auditorium seats
7:00PM - Concert begins
2:45pm - Pancake Man arrives (volunteers needed to unload his truck)
3:20pm - Set up begins in cafeteria
4:00pm - Yearbook photo is taken (dress in formal black concert uniform)
4:30pm - Orchestra students eat (bring $10 cash)
5:00pm - Doors open to audience and performances begin in cafeteria
6:45pm - Performances finish in cafeteria. Audience and performers move to auditorium
7:00pm - Formal concert in auditorium
7:30pm - Clean up/put items away.
8:00pm - Event ends.
BRING A MUSIC STAND!!! Bring your concert attire.
Eat first lunch from 11:34-12:06.
Pick up instruments from the black box at 12:07pm.
Load buses at 12:10pm.
Rehearsal with guest clinician from 12:30-4:00pm at host school gymnasium.
CONCERT performance 4:00-4:30pm
The Southside Orchestra Festival for grades 5-6 at Central Middle School needs volunteers from 3:20-8:00pm.
3:20-4:45 ~ Set up chairs and equipment
4:45-5:30 ~ Check students in and help them find their seats
5:30-7:30 ~ Play along with the kids during rehearsal and concert (Bring your instruments!)
7:30-8:00 ~ Clear all chairs and equipment from the gym
During school, the Omaha Symphony is coming to MSHS to work with Chamber Orchestra on their districts performance music from 1:30-3:30pm

End time: 9:00pm

5:00pm - Doors open to audience and performances begin in cafeteria. Pancake Man begins service.
5:00pm - United Sound
5:15pm - Philharmonic Orchestra
5:35pm - Symphony Orchestra
5:55pm - Symphony Orchestra
6:15pm - Chamber Orchestra
6:30pm - Senior recognition
6:45pm - Performances finish in cafeteria. Pancake Man ends service. 9-11 graders clean/re-set cafeteria & put all items away. Senior group photo.
6:50pm - Finish all clean up, re-set all spaces, put away all items
6:55pm - Audience and performers move to auditorium
7:00pm - Formal concert in auditorium
7:30pm - Event ends
8:00am - Volunteer jobs begin (optional).
1:00pm - Event ends.
6:30pm - Doors open. Seats on stage are for seniors. Seniors, arrive early if you want one of the stage seats.
Attire: Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors traditionally dress nice. Seniors traditionally dress in formal attire for this event and sit on stage (like the Oscars).
7:00pm - Ceremony begins (Band, Choir, & Orchestra letter awards and other recognitions*)
8:30pm - Approximate ceremony conclusion
*Attendance to this ceremony is optional, if you earned an orchestra letter and are unable to attend, Dr. Rom will give you your certificate in class the next day.
3:30 - Load buses at MSHS (dressed in concert black uniform)
4:20 - Arrive at Baxter. Go right to seats (nametags). Move all percussion equipment we aren’t using over to truck dock. Rack any unused music stands & wheel over to truck.
4:30 - Begin performing prelude music
4:55 - Processional (Pomp & Circumstance - 1st repeat, not 2nd repeat)
5:00 - Star Spangled Banner
5:30 - End of speeches, start calling student names (pack up drumset & take to truck). Basses pack up.
6:20 - Final graduate walks across the stage.
6:25 - Pomp (53-end with repeat) - no basses. No percussion.
6:30 - Each student puts their stand on the rack. Bassists & Perc. move stand racks to truck.
6:35 - All on buses w/ attendance taken
7:00 - Arrive back at MSHS - unload percussion equipment with volunteers
