Students can access the social studies TCI curriculum using the single sign on portal and the Clever app.
Students are studying maps and all the places where they live.
Our science curriculum is called Amplify. You can find it using the Clever app button in the MPS portal. Social Studies TCI is also found within the Clever app. There is a screen shot below showing you what the apps look like. Students are studying forces and motion.

Sharing the Planet
•An inquiry into how environmental changes affect living and nonliving things (change)
•An inquiry into peoples’ perspectives through analyzing, organizing, and interpreting data (perspective)
•An inquiry into how members of a group are interdependent (form)
Central idea: Interactions shape environments.
For this unit of inquiry, students will take on the role of engineers. They will explore some animal populations that are struggling and decreasing. Students will work to develop a plan to help the animals better survive.
How We Organize Ourselves
*An inquiry into supply and demand (function)
*An inquiry into how global trade can connect communities (connection)
*An inquiry into making wise economic decisions (responsibility)
Central Idea: Decision making may affect communities.
For this unit students will study economic concepts like supply and demand and trade. They will reflect about their own economic decisons. Students will choose how to display and communicate their learning about economics. Some may create videos. Some may create artwork.
