Students learned:
To suture (It was really difficult!)
To put casts each other's arms & learned about orthopedics
Read x-rays (They were so lucky to keep the stethoscopes, and were quite adorable wearing them around their necks.)
Listen for a heart beat & learned what's normal & not normal
Heard from doctors in various fields
Visited the labs (Our kids who love science felt that was the place for them.)
Visited the surgery rooms & learned from the anesthesiologist
Watched a live scope down Dr. Allen's nose & throat (It was gross & cool!)
About Medicine and Surgery
About Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences (visited the labs too)
About Medical Laboratory Technology (visited the labs too)
About Nursing
Emergency Medicine (EMT/Paramedics)Visited the inside of an ambulance & learned from paramedics

About Plastic surgery for patients with cancer (There is so much math involved.)
