Hello! Thank you for coming to Open House. My name is Melissa Walsh. I will be teaching social studies on your child’s team this year. I look forward to working together with you to make this an enjoyable and successful year for your child.

Homework not completed on the day it is due will be recorded as a “0”. Students will be asked to complete the assignment ASAP. In order to receive late credit, missing assignments must be turned in before the current Chapter Test is taken.

Click download Flash 10+ under Plug Ins.
Click Allow Once.
Click on a chapter and a section or a page number.
Click Go. That should bring you to the textbook.

*Service Learning – 7th Graders will present the Kiewit Middle School Veterans’ Day Assembly. Preparations begin in mid-October and the assembly is on November 11.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY COUPON
In order to practice being responsible the students worked on a Responsibility Coupon to present to you tonight. This coupon entitles you to have a certain responsibility attended to by your child within the next week. Make sure you ask your child about this and redeem the coupon.
