Mrs. Kalar

Hello! I am Mrs. Kalar, the 6th grade English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for team Sigma. I love, love, love teaching all things ELA! This year, I also teach a reading exploratory class - Success Strategies 6. Before and after school, I am actively involved in running the Yearbook Club with another ELA teacher. 

This year, students will be actively engage with a variety of texts and writing styles. Students will sharpen their critical thinking skills and foster a a deeper understanding of literature. Additonally, students will write a variety of pieces including essays. 

I look forward to an exciting year of learning and growth!
